I have completed over 1M rentable square feet of tenant improvement projects across various industries and sectors, in multiple states and countries. I have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while managing risks associated with long lead time for materials and lease expiration dates.

Hello there! I'm Erik Petersen, the principal of Momentum Real Estate Services. Above all, I prioritize faith and family, cherishing the joy of being happily married for nearly two decades and being a proud father to two incredible children.
I enjoy building things--whether it was Lego sets or wooden go-carts as a kid, to building successful teams, procurement processes, tenant improvements, and homes. I credit my love for building and construction to my parents' "learn as much as you can" attitude and my father's hands-on approach to fixing and installing equipment around the house.
My construction and real estate journey was furthered by my service in the US Army and Army National Guard, where I worked in construction logistics roles. With more than twenty years working, I've built career experiences in managing commercial tenant improvements for a global Fortune 150 corporation, leading a commercial construction project management service line in Colorado for an international real estate consulting firm, and contributing to the success of two residential homebuilding companies. Throughout my life, I've nurtured a growth mindset and a passion for the construction industry.
As a collaborative leader, I thrive on inspiring and motivating project teams, ensuring outcomes meet clients' objectives and goals while aligning project members with client culture and requirements. My approach is strategic and process-driven, and I have a knack for meticulous planning, always keeping an eye open for cost avoidance and savings.
I do admit that I love problem-solving, maybe even a bit too much-- just ask my wife! When I'm not immersed in my work or spending time with family, you may find me volunteering at my church, or being active. You can often spot me spectating at my son's football games or cheering on my daughter at her soccer matches. Beyond that, I relish spending time outdoors, whether camping, skiing, traveling, fly fishing, or surfing. And even though I live in Colorado, I make it a point to get to an ocean whenever I am able!
